We are PADI Certified instructors which enables us to teach all the different courses ranging from Discover Scuba (introductory course) to Dive Master Programs.  Ask us about getting your Open Water certification while you’re on vacation, or come with a referral letter from home to finish your open water dives!

Discover Scuba

Shore Dive (2-3 hours)

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater?  If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it.

Prerequisites: Be 10 years or older.  No previous diving experience required.

Open Water Certification

3 days

You will breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver.  During the course, you’ll do 5 confined water sessions and 4 open water dives.  The first 2 days will be shore dives and the last day you’ll go on a 2 tank boat dive to complete the certification course under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.  There is also classroom session where your instructor will teach you the dive theory, safety and procedures.  You will have to do 4 fast quizzes and a final exam.  The course includes: All the needed gear, the PADI Open Water book, the confined water dives, 4 open water dives (the last 2 dives are on a boat), a PADI temporary card, and the paperwork needed to process your certification card.

Prerequisites: Be 10 years or older.  No previous diving experience required.

Open Water Referral

2 days

This course is for the students that have completed the pool sessions, classroom sessions, and exams back home and want to do the last 4 open water dives here in Cozumel.  The course includes: All the gear needed, 4 open water dives (2 shore dives and a 2 tank boat dive), a PADI temporary card, and the paperwork needed to process the certification card.

Prerequisites: Classroom and pool sessions completed. Minimum age 10 years old.

Advanced Open Water

2 days

The Advanced Open Water (AOW) course is designed so you can go straight into it after the Open Water course.  This course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water.  It is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.  This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.  You will complete a required Deep Dive (100 ft / 33 mts max), and a Navigation Dive, then you can select your remaining three dives from the AOW book. The course includes: All the gear needed, the PADI Advanced Open Water book, 4 boat dives and 1 shore dive, a PADI temporary card, and the paperwork needed to process the certification card.

Prerequisites: Open Water Certification from any training organization.

Rescue Diver

3 to 4 days

“Challenging” and “Rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course.  Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.

  • Emergency management and equipment
  • Rescuing panicked divers

  • Oxygen Administration and CPR

This course includes: All the gear needed, the PADI Rescue diver book, a PADI temporary card, and the paperwork needed to process the certification card.

Prerequisites: Be 12 years or older, advanced certification from any training organization, be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years.

First Aid and CPR

4 to 6 hours
In this course you will learn: Basic Life Support (BLS) including CPR and rescue breathing at the layperson level, preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk, basic first aid, and first aid kit considerations. This course includes: a pocket mask, a CPR certification card.

Prerequisites: You must want to be able to assist people in a medical emergency.

Dive Master Course

15 days
Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the Divemaster program.  Working closely with an Instructor(s), in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level.  PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.  During the Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study.  You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba.  You put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.  You will be expected to help out on the boat as if you were part of the crew, including loading tanks, assembling weight belts, setting up equipment, washing equipment, leading some dives, and all of the normal duties of a divemaster.  You will also do numerous shore dives with your instructor(s) to practice skills, techniques, rescue scenarios, mapping, and water skills assessments.  This course includes: Plenty of shore dives, three 2 tank boat dives, and the PADI Divemaster Manual. You will also be required to purchase the Encycolpedia of Recreational Diving, the Diving Knowledge Workbook, and the Divemaster application which are not included in the course fee.

Prerequisites: Be 18 years old, have your own scuba gear, Open Water Diver certification from any training organization,  Advanced Open Water Diver certification from any training organization, Rescue Diver certification from any training organization, an Emergency First Response certification from any training organization, a course completion within the past 24 months, have at least 40 dives to begin the course and 60 for certification, be fit for diving, and submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

Refresher Course / Scuba Review

3 hours

This course is recommended for those divers who have not been diving in more than a year, anxious divers, or new divers who have no ocean or drift diving experience.  You will review basic skills such as buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, alternate air source breathing, and hand signals.

Prerequisites: Be a certified diver.
