Scuba Mau is run by Mau Torelli. His love for the sea comes from two people who shaped his passion for diving: Giorgio Torelli Busi (Mau’s father) and Oliverio Maciel “Verio” (teacher and friend). Both sowed in Mau the respect for the underwater universe, both were protectors and guides of a practice that over the years became a life project.

Yes, Cozumel has an airport! The easiest way to get to the island is by direct flight to Cozumel International Airport.
From Cancún
Take a bus or cab from Cancun airport to Playa del Carmen. Once you have arrived, you will be 3 minutes away to take the ferry to Cozumel.
From Playa
del Carmen

Inspired by Opal (co-founder), the idea of opening a dive store with local staff to benefit the Cozumel community was born. From that moment on, Scuba Mau started the beginning of a new family.
